Testing

Web Usability has over 12 years experience testing websites and applications at different stages in the development process. Ideally, testing should be incorporated into the overall site development process so that potential usability and accessibility problems can identified and corrected as soon as possible.

Starting with navigation testing to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed information architecture, usability and accessibility testing of page templates to resolve problems before the site-build, and ranging through to full user task-based testing of the completed site, Web Usability has the skill and experience to help you avoid costly problems and develop a more effective site.

Web Usability can test the usability and accessibility of web sites and applications on computers using Windows and Apple operating systems, as well as mobile devices including iPhone, iPad and Google Nexus Android tablet. We are experienced in using a variety of screen readers.

Information architecture

Early in the development process, navigation menus and information retrieval systems can be tested to validate the proposed IA before a single line of code is written.

Accessibility

Accessibility testing aims to identify issues which could reduce the overall accessibility of a site and determine how well a site complies with WCAG 2.0.

Usability

A usable site is an effective site which meets the needs of site users. An expert usability review will help identify usability problems and task-based testing will improve the user-focus of the site.
