Windows 7 Ease of Access Center

The Windows 7 “Control Panel” contains the “Ease of Access Center”. This has many tools to help you change your computer settings so that the computer is easier to use. For example, you can make content on the screen easier to see and you can learn how to use the computer without a mouse.

To navigate to the Ease of Access Center

  • Click the “Start” button and select “Control Panel
  • Click the “Ease of Access” link (last heading in the Control Panel)
  • Click “Ease of Access Center” link

Press the Windows key + U

Ease of Access Center content

  • The Magnifier,
  • Narrator,
  • On-screen Keyboard, and
  • Set up High Contrast

The Ease of Access “Explore all settings” section contains links that will help you make changes to your computer settings so that pages are easier to see and use with a mouse or keyboard.

Changes made to the computer settings will be remembered so that next time you log in the computer will be easier to use.

You can also use these tools to undo any changes you have made and return to the original computer settings.
